BMW vehicle sales and service in Mongolia begin in earnest today with the opening of the first showroom and service centre in the country by Naran Motors Co. Ltd..

The event was attended by Mongolian Prime Minister Miyeegombo Enkhbold as well as other invited VIP guests.

The official distributor of BMW vehicles in Mongolia will serve customers from its new, purpose-built showroom that also houses a parts warehouse as well as service workshops. Located at Peace Bridge in Sukhbaatar District, the financial and business centre of Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia's capital city, the showroom will offer a convenient, one-stop service to BMW customers, said Mr Sereeter Boldhet, managing director of Naran Motors Co. Ltd..

"BMW cars are the ultimate in driving performance and pleasure and the brand has always stood for dynamic, innovative, cutting-edge engineering. We aim to provide our customers in Mongolia with a level of service that they expect as BMW owners and drivers, i.e. premium, top-class quality service."

The 917 square metre showroom and service centre will showcase 3, 5, 7 Series models as well as the X Series and boasts a team of German-trained service staff and the latest diagnostics and service equipment from Germany. In addition, the facility has a body and paint centre, along with a fully-stocked parts store.

The new facility will pave the way for BMW sales growth in Mongolia, which is one of the new Asian markets that the BMW Group is moving into, said the managing director of BMW Asia, Mr Roland Krueger. "It is a market that we are very keen to grow in and develop in close partnership with Naran Motors Co Ltd.".
